A round-up of July 4 celebrations at Florida's theme parks and attractions, from Orlando



Check out this year’s Fourth of July line up:
At the Magic Kingdom, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will light the skies at 9 p.m. July 4. The show also will be presented July 3 at 9 p.m.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the traditional fireworks take on a different spin when Mulch, Sweat, and Shears perform for the all-new “Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration”! The resident landscapers will take guests on a musical road trip across America that will highlight each region’s contribution to rock and roll. The fireworks, lighting and special effects will be backed by the band’s live rock and roll. Showtime is 9:45 p.m. Before the show, guests can catch a performance of the classic Disney nighttime show, Fantasmic!, performing July 4 at 9 p.m.
At Epcot, guests can watch “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” bursting high above World Showcase Lagoon. On the Fourth of July, the show will be enhanced with “The Heartbeat of Freedom,” an overture of traditional Americana themes displayed in a pyrotechnic and laser light event. The show starts at 10 p.m. In addition, guests can take apart of the “Voices of Liberty 4th of July Concert” and meet with Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross and Disney characters adorned in patriotic dress at American Adventure.
At Legoland Florida, Celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at Legoland Florida’s first Independence Day event, Red, Brick & Boom. With special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks. Showtime is not yet announced.
Over at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa, operating hours are extended to 11 p.m. and 10 p.m. They will also have their nightly Summer Nights entertainment and special fireworks shows.

Sci-fi 4th July in Celebration

Op 4 juli zal het "Disney-dorpje" Celebration de allereerste "Sci-Fi 4th of July" presenteren samen met de organisatie MegaCon.
De festiviteiten beginnen om 17:30 uur.

Er is een special "Sci-Fi 4th of July"-vuurwerk op de maat van Sci-Fi-muziek om 21.30 uur.
Verder zijn er kinderattracties zoals springkussens en een sci-fi/super helden kostuum wedstrijd om 19:30 uur.
Live muziek van Oliver Queen, Jordyn Kane, DJ Tami, Gina Marie Incandela en een eerbetoon aan veteranen om 21:00 uur.
Er is ook een optreden van The Dixieland Jazz Band, deze unieke groep, bestaande uit voormalige leden van de "Rosie O'Grady's Good Time Band" zal patriottische muziek brengen voor het hele gezin.

Parkeren en toegang zijn gratis.
De gratis Park & Ride Shuttle rijdt vanaf Celebration Place 215, waar veel parkeerruimte is, naast het Sci-Fi-gebeuren.

Legoland Florida 4 tot 6 juli

De Red, Brick & Boom viering biedt een speciale 3D-bril die gewoon vuurwerk omzet in miljoenen exploderende bakstenen.

Je kunt ook een upgrade nemen naar de exclusieve VIP. Je bekijkt en geniet dan van de vuurwerkshow in uw eigen privé gedeelte met het beste uitzicht over het meer.
De VIP ervaring omvat het gebruik van een picknickmand met snacks, lekkernijen en drankjes voor uw familie, picknick deken voor u om de show in alle comfort te kijken van de Lakeside Lawn, en exclusief meet and greet met helden uit de wereld van Chima show Cragger en Laval .

Celebrate the Fourth of July at SeaWorld Orlando

Is er een betere manier om 4th July te vieren dan met traditionele Amerikaanse gerechten?
Van 3-06 juli, zal er een verscheidenheid aan Amerikaanse gerechten worden geserveerd waaronder bacon cheeseburgers, feet long hotdogs, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches en kindermaaltijden.

SeaWorld is geopend tot 23:00 uur en geeft zo de kans om meer tijd in Antarctica te hebben; Empire of the Penguin, in een achtbanen rijden onder de sterrenhemel of genietend van de Summer Nights shows.

Beginnend om 21:30 zal er een speciale voorstelling in SeaWorld's Bayside Stadium gegeven worden door de SeaWorld Singers, een ensemble groep zangers en een negen-koppige band, die een verscheidenheid aan populaire muziek, variërend van traditionele marsen en patriottische muziek zullen uitvoeren. Het Fourth of July feest eindigt met vuurwerk om 22:00 uur.
